Dickson marquise fabrics are waterproof French fabrics specially designed for outdoor use.
Application areas for awning fabrics:
- awnings for awnings;
- covering for canopies, awnings, gazebos;
- garden umbrellas;
- outdoor curtains for outdoor terraces as protection from direct sunlight, slanting rain, drafts;
- waterproof covers for outdoor cushions, garden furniture, swings, sun loungers.
Protection
Dickson fabrics will reduce the brightness of the lighting under the marquise- the space under it heats up 95% less, thus reducing the greenhouse effect.
Depending on the color, marquise fabrics reflect from 90% to 100% of UV rays:
- dark shades are more effective against heat and bright sunlight;
- light colors have a lower protection factor against heat and UV rays, but give more light in space under the marquise.
Wear resistance
The acrylic fibers that make up Dickson marquise fabrics are dyed in a tinting solution before they reach the loom, which gives long-term resistance to the damaging effects of environmental forces (rain, ultraviolet radiation). Even with direct sunlight, the colors of our fabrics do not lose saturation for an extremely long time - up to 10 years.
After impregnation with special hydrophobic solutions, our fabrics become water-repellent. Since water does not penetrate the fabric, it also prevents any kind of mold from forming.
Durability
The design and durability of our marquee fabrics will be a pleasure to discover, because they are the result of a fine-tuned production process and laboratory testing.
Express Cleanup
- Remove dirt that has accumulated on the surface of the fabric.
- Rinse the surface of the fabric with cool water.
- Make a solution of soap and water.
- Use a soft-bristled brush to rub the soap solution into the fabric.
- Leave the solution for 30 minutes.
- Rinse the fabric under running water until the soap is completely removed.
- Let the fabric dry properly.
Deep Cleaning - Heavy Dirt and Mold
- Deep cleaning solution: bleach 100g, liquid soap 200g, water 700g.
- Remove dirt that has accumulated on the surface of a dry cloth.
- Use a soft brush to rub the fabric with the prepared solution.
- Leave for 15 minutes without rinsing.
- Blot the solution thoroughly with a towel, wipes, or any absorbent rag.
- Rinse the fabric with water until the remaining solution is completely removed.
- Let the fabric dry properly.
- Treat the fabric with a special water repellant to keep the fabric water repellent.
